Project Venus: Custom work in the quarry
Braving ice and heat: precision work in the quarry Schwarzach, Germany
What does it actually take to get a huge conveyor system up and running in a quarry? Obviously, lots of steel, precise planning, and heavy machinery. But above all, it takes a team that can keep a cool head even when the stone is red-hot or their fingers are freezing to their tools.
Our team in Schwarzach, Germany, in action. Under the leadership of our chief mechanic Anton Bauer and supported by two experienced mechanics, a plant has been built there that will move tons of rock in the future.
The installation was no ordinary “9-to-5 job.” As the work spanned several months, our guys got to experience the full range of German weather.
For our customers, this commitment means reliability. Once we have accepted a project, we see it through to completion, regardless of external conditions or the temperature outside.
For new colleagues who may soon be joining our team, this project shows that with us, you are not just a number. We work in small, well-equipped teams where everyone can rely on each other. At the end of the day, you can see what you have achieved with your own hands (and a good dose of perseverance).
We would like to thank our team in Schwarzach, led by Toni, for their outstanding efforts! Here’s to the countless tons that will now be transported safely and efficiently.
